Estate planning

International estate planning and administration

The firm provides advice in relation both simple and complex local and international estate planning, including the reorgansiation and transmission of both professional and private assets and liabilities, providing relevant advice on tax and wills, and often working in close operation with a Notaire when the assets or individuals are located or domiciled in France.

The firm also intervenes in relation to the administration of estates, advising both executors and beneficiaries in relation to all aspects of the estate, including the disposal or transfer of assets and, where necessary, dispute resolution or litigation.

Over the years, the firm has assisted with the administration of large international estates, with the resolution of litigation in multiple jurisdictions and the management and disposal of assets across the world, including the accomplishment of local formalities. This is achieved by working with specialised lawyers in the foreign jurisdiction, many of whom are members of Consulegis.
